Louisiana’s French Quarter can add another name to its list of cherished riches. With her passionate voice and sophisticated looks, Amée has always held her southern roots close to heart. This vibrant singer/songwriter started her musical voyage at the age of three. Amee the PurpleSoul just wrapped up the recording of her debut cd.

Amée’s passion for music and performance began as a small child. She wrote her first song at the age of twelve, after her sister Katy’s painful breakup with her boyfriend. Music was her vehicle for escape from the pain of her life. Singing, Song-writing and dance became her obsession. At age sixteen, a tragic car accident took the life of Katy and her childhood best friend “Heidi. She remained silent for several years; then began to awaken after the birth of her son.

Amée has paid her dues on the scene, and is ready to break out with this debut CD. With raw emotion and a message of hope, she exposes her heart to her audience. Her unique voice exudes a depth of tone and color which captivate her audience and pull them into her emotional existence. The many facets of Amée come together in her eclectic mix of blues, rock, & country folk.
